What to expect
My classes are rooted in the joy of dance and the power of community. Drawing from Cabaret and Fusion bellydance styles, I guide students through movement combinations that build both technique and confidence. Each class is a space for connection—between body and music, between individuals, and within the group. We explore how movements flow together to tell a story, express emotion, and celebrate individuality. While modern Egyptian cabaret is the foundation of my style, students are encouraged to blend in other influences and their own personalities, creating a shared, supportive environment where everyone can grow, express themselves, and feel seen.

Continuing students will have a chance to learn to play finger cymbals and dance with canes, swords, veils, fans and many other props.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable attire that gives you free movement. It also helps if I can see how your legs are moving while you're learning the movements. Stretchy pants are a good option but skirts are ok if you'd rather wear one. You do not have to show your belly in class if you don't want to. Ultimately, wear what makes you comfortable.
What should I bring to class?
You don't need to bring anything. Some students may want to wear a hip scarf, but this is not required (it's fun though!).
You may also bring a notebook, something to write with, and water in a non-breakable, sealed container.
Special events/seminars may require additional props but they aren't required for general classes.
